Flat Wound Springs

When you require a spiral wound spring that must operate by unwinding over multiple turns while maintaining a consistent force, a clock spring solves the need. We can manufacture this style of spring from a range of material types and cross sections. Speak with our design and estimating staff to determine if we can build the clock spring that fits your requirement.

The other style of spiral wound spring that we build is the spiral wound torsion spring, often called a power spring. These springs are designed with heavier material than the clock spring and generate higher torques over shorter degrees of rotation. Often times, these springs are finished with lubricant, anti-corrosive, or powder coating. If you have an application that could be served well with a spiral torsion spring, talk to us about your requirement.
