In 1993, Herb Anderson founded Anderson Quality Spring (AQS) with a vision of creating a truly exceptional organization. He brought his 20 years of spring industry experience into a small shop and founded the company with a commitment to the highest ethical standards and dedication to customer service.
Since then, AQS has experienced remarkable growth and now boasts a team of over 45 skilled employees operating state-of-the-art CNC equipment. As one of the fastest growing spring manufacturing companies on the West Coast, AQS proudly serves over 250 active customers worldwide from its custom-built 35,000 square-foot facility located in Canby, Oregon.
In addition to building a great manufacturing and production control team, AQS has a customer-focused team with experts in various fields such as quality management, finance, customer service, engineering, purchasing, and sales. Our collaborative approach fosters innovation and encourages our employees to apply the principles of continuous process improvement. By leveraging our team’s skills and expertise, we deliver competitive advantages to our customers and strive for excellence in all aspects of our operations.
AQS has long been known as a customer service oriented company. Our customers have come to count on the high level of value added services that make working with us more satisfying than with other suppliers of engineered metal products. High on that list of services is the design assistance that we offer.
Whether you are troubleshooting existing production parts or conceptualizing a new design, AQS design and engineering resources are available to your engineering teams. Every print we receive undergoes a meticulous engineering review process, leveraging the latest design software to validate print specifications. Our objective is to offer you the most valuable design feedback for your specific requirements, ensuring manufacturability at scale while meeting your anticipated usage demand in a cost-effective manner.
AQS can supply quick run, accurate prototype parts. When possible, the parts will be manufactured using the same tools and equipment as would be used in full production. Prototype parts are made to your specifications and will accurately represent the parts you expect to see in production.
Sub-Assembly Support AQS can assemble springs and wire forms into sub-assemblies prior to delivery to your manufacturing facility.
Custom Packaging AQS can offer a range of bagging, tack-boarding, paper layering or more customized packaging solutions to improve handling at your facility.
Vendor Managed Inventory AQS offers customized VMI programs that align with your annual blanket orders and purchase orders, seamlessly integrating with your online planning system to meet your production requirements.
