Anderson Quality Springs & TRIARC partnership elevates firearms spring manufacturing

Anderson Quality Springs Sets a New Standard in Firearms Spring Manufacturing with TRIARC Systems Partnership

At Anderson Quality Spring Mfg, we partner with North America’s best and brightest companies to support and elevate quality manufacturing across industries. This month, we’re proud to shine a spotlight on our customer—and now strategic partner—TRIARC Systems.

Veteran-owned and proudly made in the USA, TRIARC Systems approaches firearm manufacturing with discipline, innovation, and a deep respect for the professionals who rely on their products daily. Their belief is simple but powerful: a rifleman’s work gun is his closest companion and an extension of self. Everything they build stems from that idea.

TRIARC doesn’t just manufacture weapons systems—they engineer tools of empowerment for law enforcement, military, and tactical professionals. Their focus on tailored solutions and precision-built systems resonates strongly with Anderson Quality Spring’s own obsession with craftsmanship and performance.

That’s why when it came time to level up their components, the newly forged partnership with Anderson Quality Springs made perfect sense.

Quality Meets Purpose

We sat down with Bret Hart at TRIARC Systems recently and explored the backstory behind the development of the A5 Enhanced Buffer Spring—a product both teams are proud to bring to market.

“Historically, we have sourced stock spring components from reputable vendors to install into our product lines,” Bret explained. “But this year, we initiated an ambitious project to re-launch our products using our own line of custom firearm parts—and Anderson Quality Spring Manufacturing was our first call.

At AQS, that “first call” was no accident. We’ve built a reputation for consistent performance, obsessive attention to detail, and the kind of engineering support that helps elite manufacturers like TRIARC bring their ideas to life.

What Sets Us Apart

We serve industries ranging from medical to motorsports, electronics to aerospace—but when it comes to firearms spring manufacturing, our mission is simple: support those who rely on precision under pressure.

Whether we’re custom-engineering springs for cutting-edge trigger assemblies or providing reliable motorsport suspension components, we bring the same level of intensity and precision to every project.

“They have a great reputation in the industry,” Bret continued, “and offered us exceptional engineering and customer support for this new program. They were very accessible, quick to respond, very knowledgeable, and they turned all our new parts around lightning-fast. TRIARC’s partnership with Anderson Quality Spring Manufacturing is strong.”

Real-World Performance

One of the most exciting aspects of this collaboration was seeing the spring’s performance in action.

In a recent blind dry-fire test, TRIARC invited their internal team to compare the old stock trigger assemblies with those built using the new custom firearm springs from AQS. The goal? Feel, function, and reliability.

“We invited everyone on our team to do a blind function test of products using our old ‘stock’ trigger springs compared to our new custom springs from AQS,” Bret explained. “We had 31 people operate the assemblies, and 30 of them chose the AQS assembly as having the best feel and function.”

That’s a 97% preference rate—an overwhelming endorsement from professionals who know what great feels like.

Engineering Support Made the Difference

The A5 Enhanced Buffer Spring isn’t just another component—it’s a response to real-world demands for smoother cycling, increased longevity, and better overall control. By customizing material selection, tension calibration, and coil geometry, we were able to help TRIARC engineer a spring system that could do it all.

And because we worked closely with their team from concept to production, the result isn’t just a better spring—it’s a better shooting experience.

A Model for Collaboration

At AQS, we pride ourselves on collaboration, not just production. We become an extension of your engineering and R&D team, helping you prototype, test, and deliver high-performance solutions faster. With TRIARC, the process was seamless and mutually inspiring.

“We are very excited to launch the new assemblies into the market,” Bret said. “We could not have done it without Anderson Quality Spring Manufacturing.”

For us at AQS, that’s what this is all about: creating the kind of partnerships where innovation flows both ways. A culture of trust and collaboration.

Looking Ahead

This partnership is only the beginning. As TRIARC continues to push into new markets and mission profiles, we are standing by with custom firearm springs and firearms spring manufacturing expertise that meets the highest standards of performance, reliability, and speed to market.

Expect to see more collaborative innovation between TRIARC Systems and Anderson Quality Spring Manufacturing in the years to come.

In Summary:

  • AQS was TRIARC’s first choice for re-engineering their trigger spring system.
  • The new AQS trigger spring set received a 97% approval rate in blind testing.
  • Fast turnaround, engineering support, and performance-focused design set AQS apart.
  • Both companies are aligned in purpose, precision, and performance.

OUR SERVICES & CAPABILITIES

Springs in the aerospace industry are subjected to significant stress and repetitive loading. With our on-site shot peening and presetting capabilities, AQS ensures that all the springs we produce exhibit high fatigue strength and deliver long-lasting performance.

In addition to our core capabilities, AQS also offers special finishing services such as powder coating, labeling, and packaging. By keeping these processes in-house, we can provide faster turnaround times, cost savings, and tighter quality control for our customers. If there is a capability that we do not possess in-house, we can tap into our network of vendors to meet your requirements while still adhering to our high standards of quality and performance.

Our custom manufacturing capabilities extend to various types of springs, including technical compression springs, extension springs, torsion springs, and custom wire forming. We have expertise in producing components for a wide range of aircraft parts, including, but not limited to:

  • Cabin interior latches and hinges
  • Overhead bin parts
  • Galley spring and wire components
  • Brackets and fixtures
  • Kit aircraft components
  • Fire suppression systems
