Pistol & Rifle Box Magazine Springs

Designed for standard and extended capacity box magazines. Available as:

  • Standard replacement springs (factory-spec tension for reliable everyday carry)
  • Extra-power springs (ideal for extended base pads, +10% to +15% power options)
  • Custom geometries (specifically wound to fit proprietary follower and magazine body designs)

During the loading and firing cycle, the spring must compress efficiently without binding, and expand smoothly to keep up with high-cyclic rates.

Shotgun Tube Magazine Springs

Engineered to work within tubular magazine configurations to control shell feeding:

  • Standard-length springs for factory-spec capacity
  • Extended-length springs cut-to-fit for competition or tactical extension tubes
  • Anti-bind designs to prevent stacking or twisting inside the tube

Magazine spring selection is critical for feeding reliability, as choosing the appropriate spring rate directly impacts how ammunition interacts with the firearm’s action. The use of extended base plates or magazine tubes requires longer, specifically tuned springs.

  • Shot-peening, presetting (scragging), and stress-relief processes to extend fatigue life and prevent the spring from losing tension over time.
  • Dimensional inspection, load testing at compressed heights, and batch traceability for OEM and contract manufacturing.

Magazine Springs Compatibility & Customization
